I think I might be getting a new bike!!

So I saw a special on TV the other night about the new 2006 BUELL motorcycles. I have found my next bike. The Buell Ulysses. The only bike I have even thought about purchasing since the day I got my Superhawk.

I did however forget to mention that I will be keeping my Superhawk if I do decide to make this purchase. I just can't bring myself to get rid of this bike.

I thought about the Ulysses. But in the ever consertative gas age.... How about 600 Miles per tank!
PERFORMANCE:
Acceleration: 0-30 mph (53 kph), 3.3 sec0-60 mph (106 kph), 10.6 sec
Gradeability: 60% (32E)
Turning Radius: Less than 7 feet
Maximum Speed: In excess of 90 mph.
MinimumConstant Speed: Less than 3 mph.
Fording Depth: 24 inches
Fuel Mileage: 102 mpg @ 55 mph (Tested)
Range: 600 miles @ 55 mph

102mpg is better than my '96 Suzuki DR200se dual sport - I get about 75mpg with it and it struggles to hit 70 - 75mph...

KFRacing didn't mention the cost of that diesel barge. It would take years of riding to make up the difference from the fuel savings. If the motor is designed right, it should last for frikin' ever so it would pay off in spades down the road but who keeps a bike that long?

The Ulysses kicks hiney, I got to ride it on a demo, and it was one of my favorites. If I was shopping I'd be looking at one too.

Unfortunatly there are no buell dealers near where I live so I am going to have to find one that will let me test ride it before I fork over the money to purchase it.

See if you can get to any of their demo days, they'll let you ride everything they've got there.

Not trying to pooh-pooh your choice CB but on the 'net I haven't met many happy FORMER owners. But I also don't frequent any "pro" harley sites either.
