I did a STUPID thing!

Ok basically I am an ******* I went against my better judgment and allowed my friend to borrow my bike (02 Superhawk 1000F) well he dropped it at 70mph, someone cut him off and he locked up the brakes, lost control, and down he went, he will be ok and is extremely luck he was not wearing the helmet I lent him he had it strapped to the bike, he has a few broken ribs and a lot of road rash.

So I am just posting to see if anyone has any part for an 02 that they want to part with.

So far I need the following

Entire front fairing
Clutch Lever
Shifter
Turn Signals
Mirrors

I might need more but this is what I can see thus far.

sorry about the crash, I only lend my rides out to people I am sure will wear a helmet, that's about all that is required . Seriously those thoughts you should have listened to can destroy you, it happened you shouldn't have but that is history godspeed on the rebuild my friend.

Thank you yes that is my rule also he was wearing it when he left, which pisses me off that he was not at the time of the crash, if my friend would have died I would have felt like it was my fault.

If you need a front fairing Stay I have an extra. If you need an entire front fairing you might look at the stay.

Sounds like you need to get some smarter friends. Sorry to hear about the bad luck.

If he was really going 70 and is alright, he is one lucky S.O.B.

sorry about the bike though, that sucks.

I have a stock shifter because I upgraded to the Daugherty shifter. I will probably have stock turn signals soon, because I will be ordering some LED lights for the side. I am in NJ, and if I would have known I was in Philly today for an interview.

Sorry to hear about the bike, I don't let anyone borrow and try not to even let them borrow a helmet.

I did some crazy **** myself, but NOT wearing the basic helmet.....sends chills down my spine...

I'd rather do coke on a regular basis than not wear the helmet..

whoa, good thing no one died or this would be a real different discussion. But in a twisted way that gives me confidence in that I might not die should I get into an accident.

I let my friend sit on my Katana after school last year and he took it off the kickstand and followed through to the ground. Pretty awesome
