Yellow Glasses

Oh.. Hi Jack...
In Canada we are taught not to eat yellow snow. Anyway, yellow glasses work good at dusk..fading light..But in the dark I find they blind you with glare off oncoming traffic...

Take care

no, that was my attempt at speaking in Newfoundlander (or "Newfie"). Incidentally, if you haven't been there, I strongly recommend you visit "The Rock" as it is populated with the friendliest people around

I'm not sure when the coversation turned to Canadians, but living Calgary, I would wear a helmet in my car if I knew it would help. I think were ranked 1st for worst drivers... Not sure but it's deadly here, need to wear a helmet all the time.

I never used a helmet on my Harley. But on the hawk I always do, Mostly due to the fact that my front tire still looks like new after 4000 miles. :}

I would probably always ride with a helmet, law or not.

For my first year, I wore one during my proby period (one year) then off it came. I rode a few years like that. Then one day I was out 4-wheeling with some friends, and the group said "no helmet, no ride with us..." so I put one on. I ended up rolling my bike 23 times that day down a hillclimb, broke 3 ribs, my ankle, and messed up two discs in my back. When all was said and done, I got home that evening, and one of my friends brought my helmet and bike back. He showed me a HUGE chunk out of my helmet. Had it not been for them, that would have been my head. Ever since then (years now) I have worn my helmet and full gear, even for the quick 2 mile trip to the gas station. You just can't predict what will happen. I have also lost a friend that, with a helmet, may have still been here. He died from head trauma. I live in a state that does not require helmets. I have a Caberg Justissimo modular I use, so if I "need" that air (or cigarette) I flip it up for a few minutes, then back down she goes. Even that is risky, but a chance I take.

[QUOTE=Cleveland;51932]Be honest. If it were'nt a law in the state in which you live or were visiting, Would you ride without a helmet? AT ALL..

I just realized I filled in the wrong response. Your first statement in your post reads as above - so I filled out no, never to the question would your rid without a helmet. But your subject heading is worded oppositely "How many of you would wear a helmet ALL THE TIME, if it were'nt a law. " which I should have answered twice. - not sure how many others may have filled out the wrong response. The importance of clear and consistent wording in surveys and polls.................

I'm too brain fried at this point today to try to figure this out...

I think it to be fairly acurate considering the crowd here.. Most people would wear their helmet..

I think you may be right.. Why didnt anyone else catch this earlier? I did state that I might have a hard time getting it to work...
