135 mph indicated and climbing on the straight entering Sunrise Highway heading east out of Julian. A crosswind out of the south made me back off, as the front was getting a little squirrely. Also I was running out of road, it's maybe a 1/2 mile straight at the most.

161 with stock gears, calculated afterward based on RPM and gearing. Was partially drafting a Busa. Backed out, sat up, felt like I was creeping. Until I looked down at the speedo and it still read 110... Fastest I've been since was 140 (at -1/+1) based on a very dialed-in Sigma bike speedo running off a signal from the front wheel. I'd rather do 85-90 hanging off the side in a sweeper than 140+ in a straight line now anyway.

Why you going to make e admit to this... Anyways State boy pulls out with a full compliment of lights going.. I pull over and had all my gear off before he even pulls up. Walks up to me and says "IF your honest I'll let you go." I was like WTF is this guy kidding me. I asked him if he was serious like three times. Finally he said "This is the last time I'm telling you. If your Honest I'll Let you go. If you ask me again I will arrest you for reckless op. Now tell me how fast were you going?" SO I went over the fact I was not going to be arrested nor ticketed he agreed. So I told him about 160. He told me My speedo was incorrect gave me a defective equipment ticket for 20.00 and told me to get out of here. As I was putting my reg. and Ins. away he told me I was very Lucky he was passed out and I didn't make him chase me. Said he had no time to lock the speed into the radar but when he first looked at it he swore it read 56 and could not understand why the radar gun was going off so freaking loud to scare the sh*t out of him. Brought my bike to the MA DOT showed them my speedo worked and poof no ticket. Lesson learned on this one? Not quite sure cause I still ride fast.

I got 3 tickets in one stop. I don't know what I was thinking, but after that happened, I just didn't give a **** about anything. The cop went one way, I went the other way back home, riding faster than I was when I got pulled over. Was passing groups of 6-10 cars on double yellows....I was asking for it, but nothing came out of it. Paid my dues, cooled off, and now I'm good.

On a 1 mile downhill on the highway my speedo read about 170, but it was probably more like 160-165. Stock gearing, micron slip-ons, K&N filter and jet kit.

Besides that my speedo has not gone over 155 flat out.

If it was an '02 it was an LS1/LS6 unless he shoe-horned a big block in there, or it was a V-6. I've had a couple 4th Gen F-Bodies ('00 and '02). They're speed limited to 155, but any handheld tuner can eliminate that.

I believe I've hit an indicated 165, it's hard to take your eyes off the road to look, almost straight down when tucked, especially when the wind starts buffeting your helmet. But I have 15/43 gears and factoring the known speedo error that's like, what? 80?

I got my **** handed to me as well by a well modded MTI ZO6 (C5). Once we hit about 110 he starting putting some distance on me fairly quickly.

3 miles north of inwood iowa 5 miles of clear open road and i used about 31/2 of it getting ot that speed had to tuck very tight. -1 in the front so im thinking at least 172 mph ...my *** was in my collar.

Indicated 150. Actual...? On new a Interstate not open to the public at the time. I don't need to go that fast, but getting from zero to ? is a lot of fun on the SH.

170 indicated...15/43 gears calculated speed using the gearing commander website and knowing what my indicated rpm was I figure about 154 give or take 2....bikes not stock either and will hit the rev limiter in all gears...at least up thru fifth...gearing commander says with that gearing and a good new tire 159 at 10000...I was well on the fat side of 9000...needle on the edge of red...tucked down nicely with no head wind.....following my son riding an R1.........fast enough for me.....im an old guy

Prairie roads are easy to speed on for sure

My bike won't go faster than 157 indicated on the stock speedo. I've tried many times, and anything over 150 takes a long time. My GSX-R would do 180 indicated.
