I bought my Hawk last year for the street, quickly crossed over to the track, and now I'm seriously considering taking the Hawk off the road and making it track only.

I'm kinda over riding a sport bike on the street

I ride mine daily. I had to take it to the car wash in January to knock the salt from the street off of it before I put it up for winter, it was snowing that day and people were looking at me like I was a freak but it was well worth it.

I put my butt on the big soft leather part and hold onto the two rubbery grippy things...then I try real hard not to tip over.

Right there with you except I have plenty of time but no $$ for much, if any, track time lately......

I so use mine for everything from running to the store, weekend trips, back road blasts and whatever track time I can get.

I think option #4 (living room eye candy) was put on this poll by mistake. It was meant to go on the Ducati forum.

That's for the Ducati riders I see at the Sunday morning breakfast destination with their 1 1/2 inch chicken strips.

Mostly commuting now due to lack of time to do anything else, but I get to the mountains every once in a while, and had it on the track once (hoping for more).

I ride mine at every available opportunity. If it's above 40 and not raining cats and dogs why would I want to drive? Commuting to work, grocery store for small items, up to the mountains if time permits. Haven't hit the track yet, but sounds like a blast.

The do it all bike.

Yep will be using my Superhawk for everything. Commuting, street & track, even a little bit of touring. Rain or shine.

Superhawks make a great track bike, just like the Suzuki SV650 does. Only the Superhawk has better power to keep up with the bigger bikes that are poorly ridden. Stock the Superhawk is a really good beginner track tool, and with a few simple mods makes a great expert rider track bike for embrassing riders on far better machinery that you have any right to.

At the track most new riders have no idea what the hell a Superhawk even is?

Mine is only for going to and from work. I live 32 miles from my job and 38MPG sure helps out my financial situation. Plus it adds a little fun to the ride

****, I've done everything on mine! Rode from Atlanta to Boston and back; track days at Talladega, Barber and Road Atlanta; commuting and just wandering; many mountain miles too. With 40k miles, she's still as sweet as ever!
