Straight forward.. What do you use and how do you apply it?

Virgin olive oil applied by 18-year-old long-legged Italian beauties.

I prefer having blonde scandinavian women doing my tire maintenance with EVOO.

You mean when changing tires?

I use Dawn dish soap and water. I keep a small cup or bowl of it next to me and dip my fingers onto it and rub onto the bead as needed. Trying to keep as much as possible out of the rim.

I'm sure there are better things out there. But this is cheap and convenient because I always have some around.

I grew tired of applying the stuff so switched to a dry film DLC-coating. Lasts forever and gives just the right amount of slippage

Not necessarily... he didn't specify gender!

I use 3M Super 77- the added bonus is that the overspray gets on my chain and allows it to grip the sprockets better...
