Thats good!

How much merc did you suck up? It is not in your carbs, the vacum ports you are tied into go in the crank case of the motor. More than likely it is in the lower end of the motor. I would think an oil change would get rid of it. I am not positive on this.

Someone else want to second guess me on this?

The mercury was sucked into the combustion chamber through the intake valves, and then was immediately expelled to the exhaust head pipe through the exhaust valve. There is nothing you need to do except maybe buy more mercury. RELAX

Exactly why i quit using those junk A$$ mecury gauges years ago and went to a set of dial gauges.

Logic would say that you sucked the mecury into the toip end and it either spit thru the engine and out the exhaust or is about to do some major top end damage. I dougt seriously that it went down the cylinder past the piston rings.

I really can't see any situation where this would do any damage. I think it's fine, either in the oil filter(unlikely) or inside your exhaust somewhere.

I found the instructions that came with a set of Motion Pro mercury gauges. Quoting from the instructions: "If mercury is accidentally sucked into engine disconnect carb tuner and run motorcycle 1/2 mile or more to purge mercury from engine. Mercury will cause no harm to engine if this procedure is followed."
I wouldn't lose any sleep about it.

Don't breath the exhaust!

Doesn't mercury coating the valves make them more heat resistant?
