Heads Up (or down) as the case may be
If any one is looking for used parts such as 19 liter tanks, etc. Try ebay Australia. or look under Motorcycle Wreckers in Australia.
I've picked up 2 tanks for under three hundred shipped. One just scratched and the other with a repairable dent. I got one through ebay and one from Victoria Wreckers. The only thing that needs to change is the fuel petcock as it goes from a tank mount on the 16 liter to a frame mount on the 19.I picked one up from Australia for $20 USD. The air boxes are the same.

Down Under Update
One thing I discovered is that the sender must declare the items as M/C parts, not Fuel Tanks or emissions related items. There is a restriction on importing fuel and/or emissions items.

That's that's right Cobber.
There are plenty of 19L tanks available here.
One thing that puzzles me about these tanks is that I have run out of fuel a couple of times and have only managed to get 16.5 Litres in !
On long trips I carry a couple of litres as a back up.

Ken, Sounds about right. The most I've ever put in my 16 liter, after running dry 4 times, is 3.8 Gallons (14.5 Liters) Due to the "low spots" the "usable" amount is only 3.8 gallons (14.5 Liters). The tank capacity is 4.2 qallons. A bit misleading but, what ya gonna do mate?
