The Greep's Changes since last pictures

Well, a few hundred bones and more value in time and I got my new LED blinkers done, an undertail installed and Watsen front blinkers in. See what you think. Oh, and for those of you that wanted a writeup of how to build the blinkers I promise it's coming. I am adding in a picture that contrasts the brightness of the old peg blinkers with the new ones.

Thanks. And the new pegs make all the difference in the world. I still want to play with the position to see if I like them down another notch, but is pretty good as is. The one thing that takes a little getting used to is that they have the little standout before dropping, at first I was putting my feet in as close to the bike as I could and standing on the pre-drop area. After a couple miles it worked out. I had to put a spacer behind the shifter about 3/8" to compensate for the new foot position. The brake pedal seems ok, maybe I'm pigeon toed on that side

Thanks for the info. They look like a worthwhile investment towards saving my knees.

Yes, I figured if they were there I may as well use them.

The bike looks great!!! Good job. The blue looks cool.

People, people please:
Yellow over Red is the fasterest color.
Less attention from the MAN = more speed 8)
People don't try so hard to run you over since yellow = Think Safety. 8)
Loud cans = hmmm....BONUS! 8)

According to the Military, the Black Hawk, cuises at 152 knots, I'd say that is a weeee bit faster than your silly yellow over red hawk can make....lol....I mean you can't argue with the specs....

Performance Max Cruise Speed
95°F 152 knots
70°F 159 knots
SLS 155 knots

See for yourself... http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/uh-60.htm

If memory serves me correct those are the same specs for the USCG Jayhawk - Red and White.....
so I guess Yellow over Red works AGAIN!!!
Silly is as silly does.

Red= Fast (undisputed)
Red= Extra Attention from Blue cop cars (slower when pulled over for being Red)
Red= Cager color fixation (more pain than gain in my experience)

My hat is off to the brave Red riders who proudly display
the true potential of their mount.

The fastest formula:
Start with Red, then stealthify it.

Yellow(over Red)= Taxi. How many speeding taxi cabs would you step in front of
Yellow(over Red)= Seen better from a distance. Distance closes quickly on a stealthy red bike
Yellow(over Red)= Not noticed by cops. They are looking for the Red bikes.

Red over Black (or other color) won't work since the original bike is not as fast.

Blue looks cool and could be safer also as it will help to put those around you in a happier place.
This is important since you won't be outrunning them. :P

Everyone knows Mr. Honda loves RED. 8)
The real color of the Honda wing is red and the"Ride Red" slogan does not mention other colors.
It is a little known fact that before leaving the factory the Red bikes get extra attention.

Fat Chicks:
This is one accessory that doesn't belong on ANY Super Hawk.
The subframe will bend.
If 2MPH wheelies turn you on GO FOR IT!

Whew! I think that covers it.
