Since bad luck comes in threes...
Looks like I get to be the third one to have his Hawk end up on the ground. Mine isn't nearly as bad though, it went down in the parking lot. I was going around the corner of the lot, turning left down a one way and looking right to make sure no one was coming. I just looked back left and started accelerating more when some guy comes flying around the corner going the wrong way. My front locked up as I slammed on the brakes to avoid him and I was down in an instant.
Like I said, not bad at all, but now everyone can start riding again as I took the third spot in the bad luck department. I'm fine other than the bruised ego of having to pick up my bike in front of a coffee shop with everyone watching. The Hawk is a little worse for the wear as the left blinker took the fall and cracked the fairing.
Any tips on cracked fairing repair? I guess this is the excuse I needed for a flushmount blinker and sliders.

sorry to hear another member went down, good u havent been injured.
since i dont like the bulky sliders, i went with these: item 250360993189
they look very decent and saved my fairing perfect when i encountered the same situation like you.

Yeah, that's the one thing I did wrong in this whole situation. After he sat in his car and watched me lift my motorcycle back up, I angrily waved him off thinking it was just a busted blinker and scratched muffler. I was thinking that if I started in on him I'd just make the situation worse. It wasn't after he was gone that I saw the crack.
