Got it started, but want to fix the issue...
My hawk wouldn't start all winter (on any day under 45 degrees or so) but yesterday I got it to start after putting some fresh fuel in. It was about 50 degrees outside. It started up fine again today, rode fine, no white smoke or anything like that. I'm leaning toward a spark issue, does this sound like a good place to start? When it wouldn't start, it would get flooded so I know fuel is moving.

Who cares now, ride it! lol I'm just being an ***. I have no explanation as to not starting only during the winter.

There is a good chance your fuel was stale. Gas quality is not what it used to be and you can read all kinds of rants here about the issues. You added fresh fuel and the bike started..... You really could have another issue/s but it is starting and running fine now? No?
You said that when it would not start before it would flood. Well if the fuel is stale and would not ignite a flooding of stale fuel would occur.....Wet foul the plugs.
I would continue to ride it, top it off with some fresh fuel again as soon as possible. Check your battery terminals, would'nt hurt. They need to be tight.
Usually a spark issue would be more consistant or constant. Usually.

Yes, it runs fine now.. other than I do notice a slight miss while its warming up. as far as riding it goes, wish I could but it's back to the 30's here. I'm gonna have the tank off soon, so I'll check the plugs then.
also, I'm moving to FL soon so what is a good oil for the bike for 90+ degrees this summer?
