I got to Reno yesterday afternoon and went to Dean's house and took the RC51 out for a spin. First ride since Sept. '06.

We've had dry weather for 6-8 weeks. Yesterday it started raining after about 15 minutes on the bike. Brought it home wet and dirty.

I'm going to miss the midrange of my VTR, but what a magical, thumping beast that thing is. I can tell already how much better the chassis is.
