Pics incoming a little bit later.

Unfortunately, it seems that either a.) the seller was not upfront with me about the "super clean" bike, or b.) he genuinely didn't notice.

It's got parking lot damage. Near as I can tell, the previous owner dropped it at either no or very low speed. There's a quarter sized spot of rash on the tailsection, a bit on the right side exhaust, and a bit on the barend. I thoroughly checked the welds and subframe for cracks, and didn't see any.

But, i was a little miffed about it... after talking to the guy, We decided that giving me several hundred dollars off was the way to go. Considering the othewise good condition of the bike (aside from the small rash, it really is clean.) and low mileage, plus the scarcity of hawks that people wanna sell, i figured it was worth it.

Anwyays... pics will be forthcoming as soon as I get some food and whatnot.
Which worked out for me.

Good on you that you take a very careful look and drive a direct deal based on your observations. Good Job!

Quit smiling!!!!!

Yeah... debating whether to replace or repaint the tail section. Honda touchup paint and a TINY bit of filler would probably fix it good. the exhaust has a bit of damage ... but i want aftermarket anyways.

Can't get pics cuz my garage light sucks and it's dark outside. will post some tomorrow.

Might have a deal on some slightly rashed staintunes. Do they sell faux CF "wraps" or sleeves of some kind? Would solve the problem nicely...
