haha well if in the future any post does offend..please refere her to my already in place appology. As i am known to do so on occasion with out any effort or even realizing i might have. And minus the chick at the DMV my last goal in the world today is to offend women.

Cause God knows i need one to you know.. cook, clean, tell me im handsome, pick up my socks out of th floor, ask me to do things so i can say sure but really have no intention of ever getting around to so i can feel validated. lol. Some time you guys should ride out this way. I am trying to get all the Socal Super Hawkers together soon. and wham just like that the S.S.H is born. Heil Hawkers! hehe

First week on my hawk was in 1st and 2nd gear in the parking lot of a nearby Home Depot. Plenty of figure 8's, low speed corners, slaloms, and things you can make out of the parking lot there. Needless to say, I got one point taken off for the test when I got the endorsement on my license. I put my foot down once.

And yeah, in the first month, I downed the hawk (gently). Lesson learned, and I'm taking a class soon! Best of luck and we look forward to the stories after the class =)

swordfish is an unknown quantity at this point
I crashed my hawk on my 3rd day of ownership. the lesson I came away with (aside from look where you want to go) is: trust the bike. it can do things you wouldn't believe. if you get into a corner too hot, don't hit the brake! it will just make you go straight up and down and then you will run out of corner. instead, be easy on the gas, lean that girl over more, and look away from what you're afraid of hitting. unless there's gravel, or you're already scraping a knee, she will pull you through.
