..it's time to choose... do I want to extend the warranty ? Kind of expensive right now, not really when you think about it but... How bout any of you that faced this decision? What did you decide?

 

Well, it depends how many miles you got on the bike. The only real mechanical problem would be the cam chain tensioner. I would buy a couple from APE for 100$ shipped and put em in and skip on the warranty. There isn't much else that could go wrong with it. Did you have any coolant weep from the water pump. If not then you are good.

 

When I bought my civic from the dealer they gave me that sales pitch, to which I replied

"You know it is a honda!"

The sales pitch came to an abrubt halt :wink:
