I am sure this has been mentioned before but it bears repeating.

Yesterday I reached across my Hawk to push in the choke/enricher and when I straightened up noticed there was some smoke coming from the side of the exhaust. It looked like there was grease on the pipe, yet the bike had been nowhere near any grease.

About that same time I also noticed a rather large hole in the leg of my polyester jogging pants.

I think you get my point.
