Disaster! Need Fork Legs & Front Rim. HELP!

First post. I've only had my Hawk/Firestorm for two weeks and I ended nailing a curb and bending both fork legs and denting the front rims!! I'm looking for both legs and a rim, my triples seem to be fine.

I had'nt really budgeted for this so I'm just looking for stock parts rather than attempting a RC swap, etc. I was looking at a rim from a 2000 CBR600F4 and it looks identical, does anyone know if this is a direct swap? (Part #'s are different).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear about that. The forks are hard to find, and the inners are backordered the last I checked. Nuhawk and I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get two in decent condition, one of them tweaked slightly and had to be sent off to GMD for straightening.

I suggest posting a WTB in the classifieds if you haven't already. If you're in the mood for upgrades I can do a revalve/respring for you pretty cheap. I've laid hands on several members' forks and they seem to be pretty happy.

The front wheel from the f4 is a direct fit. My son has a 99f4 and the wheels are identical to the Superhawk.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going a little bit squirrely right now, what with missing prime riding season and all. We only get about a 6 month riding season here as it is!. I'm looking at all my options right now. There's a sport bike rally up here in early July and it would be great if I could make that.

Forks on e-bay

Look at item number 270126041663 (forks) & 270126636673 (wheel)
They are currently at $76.00 and $100.00 respectively, there's no reserve, good luck.
