Unhappy cold exsaust

hello every one. i have a 1998 vtr love it had it about a year. never had any problems. recently it started running funny. from idle to 4000 rpms when reving it wants to sputter and bog out when it is cold or warm. also i noticed when i felt the exsaust when standing at the back looking at the bike the left pipe exsaust is warm but the right pipe exsaust is cold. is this a spark plug going bad?? any help would be great thanks.

If the exhaust is stock that is normal for the right muffler to run cool like that

So is it a full system or a set of slip ons?

I think he's asking if there is still a crossover in the exhaust.

No the TB full system still has a crossover but if it is the stock header then the restriction in it will make the left side run a bit hotter than the right.
