Buell found in garage!

So I dragged some old sheets off an old bike in my garage, and heyyy! that's my Buell!
Stuck the bike on charge for a couple of days and tonight, stuck the key in the slot, pressed the starter and Bingo! Buell fired into life first time! Good old girl.
Sounds like a bag of spanners when compared to the VTR, but like a bad woman, gotta love it! Pics attached....

LOL! I almost sold the Buell to buy a Can Am Spyder...but having ridden a Spyder (a bit like riding a rampant rodeo bull) I took the bike of Kijjijijjijjijji.
Glad I decided to keep the Buell...it's oddball, but that's what I like about it.

It is a very nice Buell, and I bet it is a lot of fun!
I'm liking the way they look more and more.

Yep, I know what you mean..and they're not much money right now. Mine's an '03 and I paid $6,000 in 05. Probably worth $3,500 now. They are a laugh, and handle superbly. Not as fast or civilised as the VTR though.
But the Harley engine is actually OK and not a dog. With the Sreamin' Eagle works done for Buell, it's an OK powerplant, if not a little agricultural...

I looked at getting a Buell before the hawk and could never decide between the lightning or the firebolt. Then I saw the hawk for 1/4 the price and the rest is history. That doesn't make them bad I actually still really like them I like the headers too, I am going to have to copy that on the next project. Now I just need a project v twin.

Neat bikes. I liked the Buell part of them, hated the Harley part.

Fun bike. Save the clunky tranny, and heavy clutch pull, that Buell is a great street bike. Really nimble and just full of attitude.

+1 ...hey, have you been riding my Buell?! You nailed the only two bugs on the bike. You need a left wrist like Mike Tyson and a left foot like....errrmm, well, you know...but yep, otherwise great fun....
