Bought and installed lower

Installed new lower .. Painted it with Radiant fire red from Autozone , 3 coats.. I cant tell a difference in red paint.. I bought this on ebay for 140.. It looks really good.

the fairing looks great, the color is a mile off tho, sorry don't mean to be a dick, guess thats what happens when you work as a bodyman and fight color match problems all day long

looks wicked man. im gonna look for the same thing come winter. i think it completes the bikes, looks like somethings missing without the lower fairing. great stuff

You fight your color/match problems with Porsche's and Lambo's. This is a Superhawk. It's looks are ******' hot at a hundred.

oil change

Actually it pops off and back on very easily... 6 bolts...


Although, I can reach oil filter....ill probably put a temporary tin foil gutter in the bottom for drainage.. The rear drain plug is just barely covered.. tin foil will do the trick again.. The area left out of the fairing for the kickstand allows you just enough room ...i think. I havent tried yet though .. but i am ok with taking it off for an oil change. My neighbor asked the same question today of how and what will i do....He was trying to talk me into cutting a circle with a door **** whole cutter thing for easier drain plug access...ill wait on that...

i keep getting compliments...

My wife was so against it until she saw it on the bike.. She was impressed..I then reminded her how much back talk she gave me about it..Funny how she doesnt remeber!!

oh cool, it looked like it was solid in the pic (like a race belly pan). i used to have to do the foil trick on my vfr.
