pyramid Lower installed

Well after having a beat up, cracked Pyramid lower in the garage for months,, I finally got around to making a mount frame, plus doing the glass work & painting it needed.

The mounts that came with it (used, home made stuff) were not what I wanted to trust. In fact the rider I bought it from had it come off the bike due to failed mounts.
So I made a frame to mount the lower

The lower had some cracks, some missing hunks at the rear and two blown out mounting holes.

Test fitting the new mounts, showed all was aligned, and ready to get to glassing.

Several glass, prime, sand, paint, sand, prime, glass sessions later. And it was time for some more test fitting.

It turned out ok. Needs a bit more finish work to look really clean. I suck at body work, so will farm out the final prep and paint next time.

I want to find some silver decals to put on, but have been unable to find any die cut silver ones about 1" x 8". Any one know where they can be had?

Check with a sign shop in your area. Many now do custom vinyl stickers/decals. I got the silver lettering for my "Experimental" VTR streetfighter in my choice of color, font, and size for $11. And that was for 4 of them.

See it here...

Good job with the lower....looks good in black, nice contrast.
Are your flush-mount signals generic or VTR specific?

sprhawk neil is an unknown quantity at this point
many people can make quality vinyl decals these days and for that size they should be cheap. A guy I know made me a honda wing sticker about 9 by 7 for my truck window with scraps and charged nothing!! He's working on a replica big wing kit for me now I'll post the turn-out later
