Battery Chargers
Any opinions on which battery charger gives you more bang for your buck? So far I have only heard about the "Battery Tender" around $30.00.
I am looking for something that will keep the battery charged up while it sits on my non-riding days.

This is all you need, unless you want led indicators or such.

battery tender
I bought mine from wal-mart for less than 20$ It's a schumacher. It' fully automatic the only switch it has is for 6 volt or 12 volt.I've used it for two years now and I'm hooked up to it now for winter

So far I am liking the Battery Tender Jr.. I like the connector with the rubber cover so it doesn't get stuff in it, and you can get 12 volt connector so that you can plug a radar detector to it. I found it At http://www.derbycycles.com for $20.00 w/o accessories.

I have the battery tender JR. and I love it. I also bought a powerlet socket (BMW style) and wired it up and its great! I put in a couple of pics. I like things to look factory or very clean at least.

The plug and socket come as a kit (I think about $25) and I had some wire and spade connectors and in about 15 min it was done. The plug itself has two screw type poles inside (very easy to wire). The socket I used spade type and the battery side is the eyelet type. I used a peice of thin aluminum and made a bracket or you can buy them from powerlet products. I like the look too! Not to mention I can use my heated vest or my heated gloves too!
