what was off on them? on the engine or the tail? do the headers fit in the head? was the engine rake off? i saw a post of yours bling that you posted a wile a go but you said you put it on the back burner. so i guess it still there lol. i just want to know what I'm getting my self in to because he selling header back and can for 50$ i can get a cuter and welder and just use it for a custom exhaust i guess if it all bad. i just want to know your experience thanks
All though both engines are 90 degree V-twins, the physical size of each is different. The port sizes do match up but the length of the header is a good ways off. You'll probably need to cut/weld (best) or bend (worst) to fit the rc51 headers to the superhawk motor.
The exhaust tube diameter is also bigger so you'll want to run a full 51 system, not just the headers.

You'll need the RC rear down tube to match for best flow. I tried using the 'hawk's downtube also but it was a 1/2-3/4 inch off from the header. Way too far to try and muscle into position (yes I tried, boy did I try.....), so you'd need to either get it bent or cut and reweld.
The rc tube ID is larger than the VTR. I suspect this is for more flow due to the higher rpm ceiling of the 51 and might actually be detrimental to the VTR's powerband. Of course, you won't know unless you try and measure it of course. The overall design is very similar to the VTR but the exhaust mounts are different and very far off.
