ADDING A SECOND BIKE?

So I found a 2003 CBR954 locally for $2100! I'll look at it this week but it's advertised as "previous owner stunted" it. Is it worth looking at? If so, what should I be watching out for? Obviously I'll look for frame, fork, wheel issues but what other than cosmetic should I be looking for? It also says 2nd gear over 20mph surges??? Any suggestions?

Well, you just have to ride it and see, but stunting can oil starve an engine if it has not been modified. check exhaust smoke.

Surging could be a fuel management thing. How much does it sit between being ridden? Perhaps the fuel system is dirty?

also make sure it has a title. a lot of stunt bikes don't have titles because they are never ridden on the road. Cali might be different but it's nearly impossible to get a title for a bike in South Carolina without having the previous title holder sign it over to you personally.

divingindaytona is an unknown quantity at this point
I wouldn't buy a ride that I know was used abused and dropped many times over. Save your $

From your description of that bike buying it is a very bad idea. My $0.02

I was not even in a position to go ride it. I just wanted you guys' opinion. I'll find a better bike for a few more bucks if I'm patient. My biggest concern is the drastic change in riding position. We'll see.
