Introductory post
I thought I'd introduce myself, hope this is a good spot for that. I live in Seattle. My bike is a 1998 with 23,000 miles on it. I got it a couple of weeks ago and the previous owners had already done some modifications on it.
It came with Two Brothers c2 high mount pipes, PAIR disabled and block off plates, a 43 tooth rear sprocket, new Pilot Power tires, and a Targa lower fairing. So far Ive added a Zero gravity touring windscreen and swapped the forks and brakes for 929 parts and installed a Speedohealer.
I am thinking about putting some Superbike bars on it, last Sunday I rode 400+ miles and it was quite uncomfortable by the end of the day.
Here's some pics;
Trying to decide if I like it better with or without the lower fairing..

Welcome. It looks to me like your clip-ons are lower than stock. With stock clip-ons or Helibars your comfort level should come up, since you already have a Corbin seat.
I'm 63 and 5'10" 155 pounds, and I'm comfortable on mine with stock clip-ons and a Sargent seat and stock size LP dark smoke windscreen.

The clip-ons are lower than stock, I had to put them under the triple with the 929 forks, but they are helibars so they are at a more comfortable angle for me. I'd like to find some with the same angle and a couple more inches of rise. I've heard TL or Ducati 900 helibars are good canidates (good luck finding them though)
Unfortunately I don't have the stock windscreen. I have an aftermarket smoked one not sure of the brand but it is not the same shape as the stock one. I actually like the ZG touring one a lot, seems to help in windy situations.

Welcome... Man, i wish the previous owner of MY bike had been thoughtful enough to upgrade the seat to a Corbin or Sargent!! Unfortunately their pricing is such that they're (even with go-go-gadget arms), too far outta reach for me.
Nice work finding that mate, i'm certain you'll be smiling so hard you'll have to consider an open face helmet to accomodate the grin!
Almost forgot.... Ultimately i find the bike most attractive without any plastic AT ALL down below & have my bike styled accordingly. However, Aside from the standard 'chin' guard, the only other lower fairing that DOESN'T make the bike look like a cross-dressing lumberjack is the Moriwaki style one. Hence, a big NEGATIVE on that diaper that came with yours!!
