2005 Apilia Tuono for sale
Hmm...
Anyone have saddle time on this bike?
Seems like a fun alternative to the Hawk...V-twin..nicely spec'd.
2005 Aprilia Tuono 1000R
Edit: I meant to say "Aprilia" not "Apilia" in the title.

They had demo rides on the Tuono a few years ago at a bike rally I attended in Pennsylvania and I snagged a nice, long ride on one. Awesome is the word that comes to mind. Really smooth, tons of usable power, great torque and overall a fantastic bike. The only drawback for me was the size. She's compact for sure. But omce I got moving, I loved it.

I've owned a few Ape's. If you are going to buy a Tuono, my recomendations would be to buy a 1st Gen model. Which that one is, actually that should be a 2004 model if I am not mistaken. Great bikes, bulletproof engines. A few know electrical gremlins, a lot easier to fix than our CCT's. Great all
round bike.
Bad points. Very, very slow sellers. Some parts hard to obtain, spares. Re-sale value is kinda poor. I would say the price on that one is a little high, even with all the goodies. A friend of mine just brought a perfect Aprilia Tuono Racing (2002) comes standard with full Ohlins and full carbon bodywork, better brakes. His has half as many miles and is also in mint condition. Paid less than that one!
I would say offer $4000. Thats really true market value.
