Ha! I came across your post over in ADV .... the Tuono is a bike I've wanted for many years, and I dig 'em up in classifieds just to have a look and dream away.
Being a teacher though, I don't have the green to make those dreams a reality. (You can relate, no? I presume you were once a teacher too?)
Good luck with the sale!

I was a teacher for 17 years. I've had the bike for 3 years and about 5k miles. It's a blast to ride but I'd like to have a change now. I wish I could have more than 1 but that's just not possible.

It definitely rips! Never been on the dyno but I'm sure a good dyno tune and a PCIII would uncover a couple more ponies. The best part is the torque and low end snap. It's been a really great bike. I sold a CBR XX to buy it.

Nice looking bike, Hope you're not close to me in FL
Looks like it's rated at 128 hp & 74 ft-lb of torque, so it's probably actually makin 115 hp & 67 ft-lb of torque which is comparable to the SH, but the suspension and ride comfort are probably so good that a stock SH couldn't even come close to keeping up in the twisties...not to mention it's just plain beautiful!

The bike is very comfortable and handles very nicely. Thanks for the compliment, it is very beautiful. Not really sure why I want to sell it. It makes me smile every time I ride it! Can't have 2 so it has to go.
