The custom frame on the yellow & pink one would be nice to check out up close.....

I believe the "support wings" at the back of the frame (which support the swingarm pivot) were made by Spondon... (I have a pic but it exceeds the size limit)....

^^ Probably about as much as a used 1098 Duc.. kinda makes you wonder if it's worth going that far with a superchicken.

There's a video of that yellow/pink one on youTube warming up. Sounds real mean.

Well, it's an ex racebike, tuned by Roger Ditchfield and afaik it's a Stage 2 engine, so 150-155 ish at the crank and reliable as a stock engine... I'd say the used 1098 duc is a bargain in comparasion... I'd say the cost was when built equal to a new 1098...

Though to be completely honest, I have ridden a VTR with around 160 at the crank, and that had a braced frame like this one, but it was still waaay to much... It might not beat the duc's or the current crop IL4's on a straight, but it will scare the crap out of you twice as fast in the corners...

Won't change the fact that I'd buy one if I was offered...

Nice bikes and I'd beat that the STG2 motor has one of the stronger unobtainable cranks

With what ever they poored into that engine in terms of money, I'd bet my *** they stuck all the special, super hard to find parts that they at that point could order from Honda/Mori... And which are now unobtainable... Like I said... Tell me it's for sale and I'll show up with cash...

Amazing bikes, but the title needs to be changed to "3 awesome VTR's", seems he has a stock 1998 as well...
