1 cylinder died on freeway...

Today, one of my hawk's cylinder stop working, huge loss of power, on freeway and engine died at stop sign of exit.
Restart right up with both cylinder. it did happen right after I got gas and get on freeway about min. later when I cruise at around 80mph. it did happen, but after that never happened again.

Searched here and seems to be vaccum hose = lack of gas issue.
However, it happened just the moument, not regular problem, at least today during short ride like 1.5 hrs.

Only thing, I did differently today is that gas was to the top. Close gas cap without air create acuum inside of tank?
I don't think so, but I am lost.

It would be very bad when you are pushing pace at twisties.

'98 SH, Mannual CCT, PAIR removed, 2 Bros pipe with stock air filter, other than that it is stock.

That's normal. Don't hit it hard until after a few miles if you fill all the way up. You can pull over and pop the tank to relieve the vacuum. You'll see a little dribble of gas from the vent line on the bottom left of the bike. This is a normal VTR thing. Nothing to worry about. Consider it "character".

Hawkrider, Thanks for the info.

Mark, how was your paint ball day? I left with my red one as soon as my wife got home around 3:30ish. rode about 1.5hrs and went home after this.

We didn't play...not enough people. Bummer! I have two fledgling riders I'm training now so I took them out riding. One has an 84 CB700sc Nighthawk S and the other a 03 600 Katana. We'll get together soon and ride. Mark

I've had it happen a couple of times in the past. No big deal.
