Big oil take advantage of a tragic situation to advance thier capital gains!!! Say it aint so!!

 

My first Honda was a "pedal-er": a red-over-cream 50cc moped with gas tank/luggage rack behind the seat and a tendency to chew-up first gears (3-speed automatic). It chewed-up first gears because I would get tired of peddling up hills in my very hilly neighborhood. Though I might benefit from a little more exercise, I prefer the VTR's 996cc V-twin to something a little more fuel-efficient--Honda-matics be damned--, and I can always get plenty of cardio-vascular exercise should I have to push the VTR after running out of gas money.

As a wise person once said, "Owning a muscle car and complaining about the price of gasoline is like marrying a heavy person and complaining about the grocery bill." On the bright side, at least we can get 33 mpg on our VTR's, as opposed to those unfortunate people who recently bought '03-'04 supercharged Cobras or 400 hp Corvettes and who are now a little more likely than before to be sitting at home with their overweight life-partners.
