might have been beaten to death but. Can someone give me the idiots guide to posting pictures. When I try to post pics they always say they are too big. How to I shrink them?

I usually upload them to my Photobucket.com account and then use the "[web][/web]" tags with the URL in the middle.

I'm sure there's 5 or 6 ways to do it, that's just my way. Way to tease everyone with the custom RC51!

I assume you are trying to load pictures (file sizes) that are straight out of a digital camera. If this is correct, they are WAY too big for forum use. Using photo editing software on your computer is the best way. Using a photo hosting website is another which has been suggested.

Size the pics in these common sizes (length/width in pixel count): 400x600 or 600x800 or 800x1200 saved in a jpeg format. Anything larger will not fit on most computer screens, thus most web forums won't accept them.

If you don't have the software that should have come with the camera, there are free ones out there on the 'net.
