Forum Stuff

I wanted to change the search engine to allow 3 letter searches so we could search words such as CCT, APE, OIL , etc. I thought this would be helpful. Unfortunately vBulletin creates a library of words based on a minimum number, which has been 4 since the inception of the forum. So all previous threads with words less than 4 letters have not been cataloged as such. There's no way to change this and I apologize. At least I gave it a shot.

Also, several of you have a LOT of PMs in your inbox/outbox. Please clean them up or I will have to do it for you. I cannot look at PMs, only delete them ALL out of your inbox. There are only 200 PMs allowed between both inbox and outbox. I will send out emails later this week to those with more than 200.

Thanks,

Greg

Well, as someone was so kind to inform me, you guys are allowed 1000 PMs, so just disregard the above cuz I'm dumb. I am the one that is only allowed 200...or I WAS anyway.

I'm thinking about adding a sub-forum under Classifieds for feedback. What do you all think?

The whole ebay scene makes me puke. And everything about it. Paypal and the feedback mechanisms are just along for the ride as these theives make huge money selling trash with their buddies collecting the money for them and their pals patting them on the back for doing a really good job hosing people. **** that!

Word gets around in here and it is a public forum. Anybody can dial in. The guys that have done a good job of representing their parts, shipping in substantial containers, and handling the money with grace have usually always been mentioned in the pages.

We handle our business transactions as gentlemen and NOT ebayers!

Little bit more than .02 but . . .

I'm thinking Doug doesn't like ebay. But hey, he still got some fairly decent fork tubes for less than half of new price....even after sending one of them out for straightening...and it was the wrong triple too...but he got partial reimbursement for that. I'll betcha those fork tubes are STILL on backorder from Honda.

I bought from Randy three times now.

Fast shipment, exactly as described, great ebay seller. A++++++++

Is it possible to implement a score for each member that shows up in their profile? Or is that too much trouble?

+1 I have had good luck also . Pretty much everything I buy thats motorcycle related comes off Ebay . I try not to pay retail for anything . Moneys tight , so if its not a super deal I am not getting it.
