you know what sucks?

the rc51 community is sorely lacking. yes, wealth of knowledge, but i dropped the $20 on the rogue membership (rc51.org) and omg, that forum is deadddddddddddd.

+9283749872348 for superhawkforum.com great community here

I wouldn't pay anything to be a member of an online forum. The RC51 forum at Fireblades.org looks to be a little more active. You also might ask guys here who own or have owned RCs where to go for good info on the RC.

I'm looking at selling the SHawk for a 919 and hit 919.org, which is run by the same guy that owns rc51.org. No action since 2007.....

Superhawk/RC51 forum perhaps??

I joined ROGUE, hoping for good technical stuff. It's pretty much same-same.

Lots of people here are RC51 enthusiasts, as well.

Maybe Greg could add a section for us and keep the family together!!

Lots of shared heritage there...

seriiiisouly....an rc KB/subforum would be great...yeah rogue was a little disappointing. alot of times im worried about looking at info thats old since alot of their KB is pre 04. either way, the guys there have HUGE amounts of knowledge build and tearing down RC's (from what it seems in my less than 24 hour observation period). i mean, hands down i have never seen so many members that have fully built from the ground up track/race bikes. (not to mention im drooling all over the pics ahahhaha)

Good idea RCVRT...maybe we should run a poll to see how many folks would appreciate a sub-forum for RC51s...just an idea

That's what happens with pay only forums... Only the die hard stubborn guys stay around... But yeah, they know stuff...

Well, do you really need a subforum? It's not like the rest of us will kick you out? If so I'm for it...

This is a great forum. I found it while I still had my first bike (NT5650 Hawk GT) and was able to do tons of research before buying my SuperHawk. I know Randman is still around after buying his KLR, and I have no intentions of dropping off once (or if) I change rides. Besides, I have yet to see another forum with a PWNT like ours....

Heh, I figure Greg decided that you guys would be easier to handle on the rest of the forums if you could go bonkers in there... It's probably working...

In my ever continuing process of trying to find a 'hawk locally for a decent price I decided to expand my search to include RC51s as well.

Low and behold, I found one yesterday and made an offer on it today. Unfortunately we couldn't come to an agreement on price, but maybe they'll change their minds over the next week or two.

Either way, I think an RC51 section would be appreciated, even if not as used as some other sections.

I think it could be a subforum in the racing category. Racing doesn't have to be just about the pros. It can be about trackdays for us and the kids racing our bikes too!

I'll +1 that. This is a great forum. Aside from the election thread people just get along here.

I was kinda disappointed with Rogue as well. Then again this is the first forum I've ever joined besides one for work and none of the others I've since joined compare to the brotherhood here. Fireblades.org can be good for RC51 stuff. I think I heard of a racing v-twin forum once but can't recall.

+1 on RC51 subforum. We could call it the "EVIL TWIN".

Hey.. I resemble that remark.. Comments like that will just serve to draw us out of there to clutter the rest of the forums... lol..

haha yeah guys this forum DEFINITELY has a nice community to it, hands down. the only other i forum i feel has as much community is ocmoto.com which is a regional forum for the orange county-ites here in socal. fireblades.org eh i dunno, it seems like people really just breeze by that forum, the rc51 section at least. doesnt have a community so much. im definitely NOT leaving superhawkforum.com thats for damn sure! :]

Yeah, great. After all the breath I've wasted trying to convince my wife that track days aren't racing!

"But you still go hundreds of miles an hour. With other MOTORCYCLES next to you"

"But honey, it's not the speed that gets you, it's the sudden stop."

I'm so excited about my new bike, I can hardly stand it. And she just takes the wind out of my sails. Says it's going to be "horrible" when I get a bike.

All I can say is "That's fine, if that's the way you want to be about it. If it wasn't really important to me, I wouldn't be doing it."

It ain't easy 'round here.

Heh... why should life be any eaiser for you than the rest of us?!

But if it's a RC51 or a racing forum... well I think a racing one is more usefull for the whole of the site...

Well...
When mines done it will be a race bike. I'm just not going to race it. I have all the parts. Just waiting (F@#^ing tired of waiting!) for the bike. So I suppose it is appropriate.

(Shhh... don't tell her that)
