Goofy commercial. Spies is an awesome rider, though. Imagine how good Jorge Lorenzo must be.

I think the question is would he do a track day with us "boat anchors".

While at a track day I watched young Jake Lewis running in advanced. He made pretty much everyone look like back markers. He's not Ben Spies, but it makes me wonder how much faster the "big boys" are.

That would be freakin awesome! I had a similar thing happen at a track day once, I was in a mock race that they have at the local track to help people decide if they want to move on to racing. I was in a heated battle for 1st with this guy swapping positions back and forth and having a great time in the process. 4 laps into a five lap race this guy passes us both like we were going backwards, we both took a quick glance at eachother and shrugged it off as the rider just dissapeared from view and continued with the race. After getting my personal best lap time finishing 3rd, (lack of stamina), i soon found out the rider that passed us was Pascal Picotte! So I know consider it a 2nd place finish he was apparently getting in some winter practice, still my all time track day experience!

Good analogy, it was really humbling like I said I was running my best laps ever he started after us, track us down and basically bitch slapped us. It was still fun as hell though!
