For the second time in my life I'm a short-timer, the last time was when Nixon ran against Humphrey. So, however this election comes out, I'm surfing and riding motorcycles with my wife, and not working for the rest of my life. Hard to beat that.

Lucky bastard. High time we redistributed some of your wealth. Maybe the brother in Kenya and the aunt in the Boston housing project would like a surf board.

It's going to be a blowout. Obama is predicted win in a landslide. You don't have to worry about your vote being significant, so vote your conscience.
I wonder if he thinks the law that Presidential candidates must be natural born citizens of the United States should be upheld?
The guy is a cardboard cutout of a real man and I have no doubt that most of the dirt being uncovered about him is true. I think we're going to get to find out firsthand just what a great administrator Obama is.

The social security and drivers licenses for illegals is a fait accompli under the provisions of the 2005 signed Security and Prosperity Partnership for North America, which will ultimately effectively merge the US, Mexico and Canada into one political entity with one security perimeter and, ultimately, one currency to replace the decimated US dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Mexican peso. This was all done in relative secrecy without the consultation of the US Congress, of course.

I know I'm lucky, mainly because I've lived long enough to enjoy what's coming to me soon. But I worked hard, never bought anything I couldn't afford, and paid my taxes since I started working full time at 16 years old. And I served in the Military, as we were all required to do back then.

Giving 40,000,000 people who don't pay taxes a handout, which I am paying for, just flat out pisses me off.

I read that McCain (as well as nearly every candidate during this retardedly long, election year) also supported social security and driver's licenses for illegal aliens. The fact that politicians support it is simple; they allow amnesty periods ever so often to get these folks to admit that they are illegals, at which point they get a green card and a 'welcome to America, time to pay TAXES' letter.

My theory is a bit different. I drove a big rig for twenty years and delivered to factories all over the country that were full of illegal aliens. The factory owners typically employ legalized bi-lingual mexicans as bosses and these guys keep everyboby in line with the ultimate incentive being deportation. Of course these bosses often got their way with the ladies too, much like the foreign sweat shops Americans complain about. Anyway, these wealthy factory owners get their way with politicians through lobby groups which agree to support the incumbent or, if they don't play ball, their opponent in the next election.

It's finally over tomorrow. An almost 2 year campaign by Obama, I want to puke.

The irony is that as I'm driving home from work to get to my polling place at 6:30pm here in California, the news media will probably have already projected a winner. Oh well, at least we have some other important issues to vote on here on the left coast.

You said it.

The fact is this: The rest of the country doesnt have to wait for Cali to vote to project a winner.. We KNOW how Cali swings. For THAT matter that whole coast. If it were a question of how (the majority of) you guys were going to vote, then maybe the story would be different.

Cleveland,

Have you ever seen the picture where it's black and white and it's two faces facing each other just a bit apart? You can't tell if it's two faces or a chalice.

Well, I look at your picture and can't tell if it's batman or catwoman! Ha ha!

Don't blame me, I didn't vote for Obama, Kerry, Gore, or Clinton (twice).
Blame my liberal sister who lives in Pacific Palisades.

I sincerely pray that this election will be what it takes for America to WAKE THE F*CK UP and bring about another Reagan Revolution.

Never have I seen so many, who were so ignorant, become so blind, and so willing, to give up so much of their freedom. And I hope I never do again...
