Picked up a track bike today

97 YZF600R with an Assload of parts.. (I filled the bed of my truck, the back seat of my quad cab, and the other side of a garden trailer converted to a 2 bike trailer with parts. Enough to build a second bike if I get another frame and forks) Better pics later, but its been a long day

Nice! I think you will like that YZF. Probably #1 is to put the forks back where they belong to fix that mistake with the geometry. I affectionately call this "Un-Fing" - which is almost always necessary with a used bike.

Enjoy!

Nice! Look forward to seeing it on the track in GA next year!

Let me know if you need any parts while you're working on it. I have a large hoard of FZR/YZF parts.

Forks are in the correct position but the handlebars have been relocated under the tripples instead of on top of the tripples. they are a few mm too low, but not so much as they look in the picture and I think it has a 120/70 on it instead of the 120/60 its supposed to have which would make up the other few mm
