No more Skaggs Springs Rd
Well it looks like the have gotten another great road closed down.
If you are in the Bay Area and haven't ridden Skaggs, you might want to do it quick before the "rumble strips" go down......

I looked it up on Google Maps. What a great looking road.
Quite a distance from Skaggs Island on the north end of San Pablo Bay. I spent 5 months stationed there in 1967 for Class A School in Naval Security Group. Lots of great roads in Sonoma County, at least there were back then. Sonoma had a population of 2,000 then, and I had a small apartment there...10 mile drive to the base, all country roads.
If those "rumble strips" are what I think they are, Rows of "Botts Dots" they will cause motorcycles to crash, especially when they are damp/wet.
