Errrr, Ford eh? Probably similar to every other large V-8. Drop the crossmember whilst supporting the motor. Drop the oil pan. Remove and replace oil pump with new strainer. Install oil pan. Install crossmember. Fill with oil. Go muddin'!!!

some ford engines drive the oil pump off the distributer or vice-versa. anyway, got to pull the dist. first...I think...

yea mine is, i changed the dist a few months ago. Truck is a money pit and i should just get rid of it but i love the peice of **** to much.
