My trusty ol car got totaled in a hailstorm a few weeks ago, so last Sunday I picked up a replacement:

Got it for just under $11k

 

very nice!!! My mom opened my eyes to the beauty of that car. She has an '09 Mazda3 2.5 hatch (not mazdaspeed). I was totally sold, that car handles like a dream. As much as I hate to say this, it was a huge improvement over her '08 Pontiac G8 GT. Nice car dude

 

Indeed, zoom zoom. The extra 140hp over and above the 150hp of the standard mazda3 is nice too, drive a speed if you get the chance. I test drove a ton of cars and this one was my overall favorite. There were a few close 2nds though. (VW GTI etc)

 

Mazda nailed it with that car! I didn't realize the speed had that much more HP than the standard...

 

The speed has 268hp stock, (vs 158) mine has a factory CAI that Mazda claims adds 20hp, so I guess it is "only" 130hp more.. Mine also has the BOV swapped, but that can only add HP if you retune the ECU, and I have not done that yet.

Gotta show Mazda love. I've had 2 Protege5's (wife still has hers) as well as currently in a miata
