Happy Veterans Day

A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. That is beyond honor. There are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. Copy and paste this as your status if you are a Veteran, know a Veteran, love a Veteran or support the Troops. The land of the free because of the brave!

Hey Mike, a couple of questions...

Did you know that you miss spelled Veterans as Ventrans in the thread title?

And, did Randy freeze your post count? It seems like you've been at the same count for about 2 months.

Thanking a Vet is a great idea, But those who most deserve to be thanked for their sacrifice will hear you, but can not return the courtesy. Remember them in your words and in your heart so they are never forgotten.Yes I know that is what we do on Memorial day,,, but for these folks, they get tow days, as they paid the price of admission for both.

Hats off to all the servicemen and women who have risked their lives over the years, happy (belated) Remembrance Day (as it's known here in Canada). Your sacrifice is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

My wife is from Canada, with British and Hungarian heritage. Her uncle on her Mom's side fought in WWII for Canada. Her uncle on her Dad's side fought for England and was a POW who escaped many times from **** prison camps.

We flew all three flags yesterday: USA, Canada and Great Britain.

Mike,
I see Greg took care of the spelling. I thought he was in a submarine under the polar ice cap or something. He deserves a salute on Veterans Day as well.

As for the post count. I thought I read on the PWNT a couple of months ago where you mentioned you only had so many posts to go for MotoGP, and Randy being Randy screwed with you and said to watch out, he could freeze your post count. As much as you're on here, I don't know how I reached 2500 posts before you. And I'm hardly ever on the PWNT.

I was just being facetious Greg. What do I know about boats and ships anyway. My time in the Navy was spent on shore duty with NAVSECGRU.
