Had a chance to buy an SV1000S
It was on the local CL here and I just saw it yesterday morning. Played email tag with the guy for most of the day. My work schedule is highly F@%*ed up this week and because of that I couldn't make the 45 minute drive to go see the bike....low and behold I got an email from him this am saying it was sold!!!FML
It was a very nice looking bike with D&D Cans and all new fairings. It was a salvage bike but completely repaired (hence the fairings). I guess it wasn't meant to be. The CL ad is gone, but I was able to snag a picture he put on photobucket.
forgot to mention, it was a 2002 with only 8k miles with brand new pirellie diablo's too. He was asking $3000 but said his bottom dollar was $2700.
