I thought this was pretty damn cool (especially given the car he uses haha). I figured i would share with my fellow gearhead bretheren.

there's a quick bike clip around 6 or 7 minutes in...never shows the time it runs in the quarter though.

They do show it.

The board shows MPH first, then time, if you watch for it, you see it.
They show 2 more times/speeds
8:59 109.56mph
9:01 11.846 seconds
9:34 110.76 MPH
9:33 11.555 Seconds
Or are you refering to the "kill a cycle"? Do a google/youtube search on kilacycle and you find lots of video's of it, and even some crashes.

Going fast without gas is no problem. Going far without gas is. You need hundreds of pounds of batteries to hold the energy of a gallon of gasoline.
The EV-1 electric car weighs 3000 lbs. 'cause its batteries weigh 1200 lbs. Electric drag racers are fun but without a big breakthrough in battery tech, electric cars won't be going very far.
