A friend of mine stopped by a local dealership last week and they had a brand new 2000 suzuki TL1000S.It has 9 miles that they just put on it.He got it for 4 grand.I know its technically not new, but i thought 4,000 for it was a super deal.never know what you might run across when you`re window shopping.he picked it up today.

 

That's awesome. That's what I was ready to buy before I ended up getting my first superhawk back in '99. Still think one will finally end up in my garage one day.

I haven't looked in the "cycle trader" in a long time but back a few years I do remember one or two dealerships in particular having brand new superhawks and tl1000s that were a few years old. Wonder what's out there today sitting in a crate somewhere in the back of a dealership...

 

i tried to buy it from him,but he`s not selling. it still has that new bike smell when it`s running.

 

I'd recommend a new set of tires before he rides it aggressively...

 

i`ve already told him about the tires and all the fluids needing to be changed.
