check out ebay Item number: 110041409580. If not I have a clean title '99 frame in the garage that I bought for one of those dream projects that's likely not going to happen any time soon-depending on how badly you want one because I'm not dying to get rid of it yet though...

Well I guess what I was trying to say was check out the auction because it's a 2000 and it sounds like it's nice. I wasn't in a rush to get rid of mine but it is just kinda sitting there and I guess selling it wouldn't be the worst idea-I already have two full time projects going in the garage as it is. Mine's a '99 frame-you said you wanted '00 or later- and while it indeed does look just about brand new and has a clear title (Colorado) it does have a hairline crack in the neck that I noticed after I bought it while cleaning it. Nothing crazy but unlike the person who sold it to me & told me it was perfect would want you to know it's there. I called up computrack in Ft Lauderdale because I wanted to make sure it was perfectly straight and they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but they said they can only check out a complete bike. Having said that they said they can fix alot worse than that. Anyway that one I showed you on ebay went for 612.25. If you are interested in this one email me and I'll send you some pics if you need them. Again it's really clean but I would recommend obviously having the neck welded and as with any used frame like this it should go to computrack once the bike is assembled to make sure everythings perfect.

Frame welding and checking
You can send your frame to
http://www.motorcycleframeman.com/menu.html
They weld and repair frames and straighten it out if has to.
Used them once and they did a great job.
The hawk frame does not weight much so its cheap to ship.

The frames are not necessary symmetric so I wonder how he knew what it was supposed to be? It helps when you have a whole bike there because you can measure the plane of the wheels themselves (like what GMD does). I guess the frame man must have done this work up front when he fabricated the jig. I'd still like to know how he did it!
