Testing waters: Staintune exhaust

I am wanting to get highmounts for my VTR and the Jardines from Capt. fit the bill. Would anyone be interested in a set of standard mount Staintunes that would come off my bike. No performance damage, but rash on one side. They would come with removable street baffolds. Any interest or would that be a losing endeavor. I know there is no bidding on the site and I endorse that rule but I have no idea where to start at pricing due to not knowing what they were new, but I was told by the PO they were 1300 new (cannot find them for sale anywhere online), so I'll guess at 450 used? Please advise and as always any feedback or satirical comments welcome. Thanks all!

About 10% less in Aussie currency. Still up there though

I traded a set of Yosh low mounts (old style all welded no springs) for a set of Hi Mount Staintunes even up. I got the better end of that deal big time!.

I would agree you came out on top for that one. If these were highmounts I wouldn't dream of letting them go. I love the sound, just want a different look.

I have them on my bike. They are awesome. Everyone comments on how my bike sounds. If anyone is looking for a nice exhaust these are a good choice.

Don't know if you're near anyone else in the forum, but it might be worth sitting on a Superhawk that has high mounts before you swap or buy. Depending on where you like to keep your feet on the pegs you might find some interference from the pipes to your boot heel.

I ride consistently with toes on the pegs. Does that cause interference? Anyone in NorCal with high pipes?

I have-mount staintunes. I have more of an issue with the heal guards.
I ride my SH at the track only.

If you have jumbo feet, then it might be an issue...I'm about a sz 10.

Jardine High Mounts are on their way: Stay tuned for a for sale thread for these when I get them on.
