Update report; it's been 7-8 months since I started the 3rd floor condo living room build. The only area the was not rebuilt is above the oil pan block seam and below the cylinder head. I'm hoping to have fire in the holes in about 2-3 weeks, after she gets moved down the elevator. Still waiting on a front caliper piston that is supposed to be here in a week or so.

 

Don't take it outside, it'll only get dirty.

Good eye; ya..... it's a screw-up; In my defence when ya take on the whole deal there is bound to be a mistake.
So, I bead blasted the pipes; bad move. Now I'm looking at bare metal so I went the VHT ceramic primer and spray as per instructions on the can. I have little faith that it will hold. Plan is to hook up the CarbTune, set intial at 2 1/2 front and a bit more on the rear on the air screws and run it for the reccommended 10 minutes. I think that it will look like **** after getting to temp. It was a **** up........................

 

Well, it looks good now. Just don't ever run it and you're golden.

I wonder if they have only like one CNC running components and leave it tooled up for one part until the run is done. frustrating but makes sense.

Then found out my quadlock garmin mount is delayed in transit and the stabilizor is also on backorder.

Riding season 2024 is getting off to a rough beginning and I haven't even started the bike yet, lol
