I am very impressed with these pants over any of the Joe Rocket mesh/textile stuff. They are overpants, and designed so they can be worn over normal underwear, or full clothing. They are very adjustable....

I got them in a XXXL, which is a 40-42" waste, which I figured since I'll be wearing them over jeans, I would go a size bigger. Honestly, I could have gone anywhere from XL to XXL and been fine.

I am 5'11, 215lbs, and have a 38" waste on a bad day.. lol which is why I figured one size up from that, but they mean they fit 38" with pants on already...

These pants do fit me, but I wear dress pants 5 days a week, and with very thin dress pants, I have been pulling the waste adjuster's tighter to tighten the waste. I am ordering a XL, because even if they fit tight, I can let them out some with the adjusters.

I have knee adjusters in middle spot now, and they fit great. So these pants are fine for somebody that is anywhere from 5'9 to probably 6'2... Plenty of knee adjustment available

As for waste... 38" and more and your good to go. I wear between a 36-38" waste, and i don't wear completely baggy clothing, so if your a 38" you will be fine, but they should fit anywhere up to a 48" with the adjusters...
