How exactly, if you know, can this kit be installed on the VTR, and does it have hi and low beam?

Hacknslash, any comments on this kit???

I'm interested but have serious questions.

As for installing, it should be as simple as replaceing your stock bulb and plugging in the ballast instead of at the back of the bulb, hiding the ballast somewhere is more of a challenge...

The drawback however is that you will only have lowbeam (looking at the bulb it's a single bulb, no solenoid, only two wires...) this is enough for most cases though...

The other thing is that it's probably going to give of a nasty glare as the bulb and reflector isn't a perfect match... Could be good or bad depending on your preference, nobody will miss seeing you, but might be annoyed by the glare...

And me personaly, I would prefer the 6000K bulbs to the 8000K... but that's just personal preference and a bulb can easily be swapped...

I forgot to mention that, thanks, its low beam only. It is a simple plug and play. And with the low beam in the hawk its super bright! It a rediculous improvement over the stock bulb. The reason I am selling is because I just got the low/high beam ones. And personally Its not a ton better, better I didnt want to pull the lights apart on the hawk. I have a video posted on here when I first got these, I will dig it up. I think the 8k is a perfect color and lights up 3' past each side of the road and just an insane distance down the road. If you need anymoer vids once I find the other one let me know!

At the price, these are a great improvement over stock, for a projector you will end up at around twice or more... With a lot of work custom fitting it into the light housing... This is a 5 minute swap...
Not hating, but why wouldn't I pay about $100 for a 50 watt bi-xenon?

I dont know on this particaular bulb. But I know xenon bulbs are not HID. Might have to do some research, but I am not so sure on this. Any true HID's I have seen are no where near this price and I dont see a dual bulb on the pics of this to make it a true hi/lo HID. And its from China, my guess is its not true HID. But maybe someone here tell me wrong. Plus I will warranty my bulbs and my kits will come with two of everything, so you will have an extra if you have to send one in for warranty

A moderator should clean out this thread. It is a For Sale thread and not a Tech Discussion thread. We're disrespecting the seller here, and he is being very patient about it.

Well, I agree, it started out as a simple answear to a question, but now It has gone beyond that... I will "self censor" so it doesn't need mods... I'll leave the first post so not to cause confusion...

Altough to state clearly to skip confusion, there was no bashing, it was all information, and nothing negative towards the selling item...

Thanks Erik, I dont care about the technical side, I hate ebay posting but it happens. I dont know everything on the HIDs But I am pretty sure some of the china nad hong kong stuff is jokes on ebay. But people can experience it for themselves. I will ship 2-3 day shipping, not across seas lol

Well after seeing all this, the motorcycle kits make me think, I can split these in half and you have a motorcycle kit. It just one bulb instead of two. I could do that for 65 shipped if I could find two buyers?or maybe start listing them like that and split the kits in half?? Make you guys more interested??

These will "work"... but have severe drawbacks because they are "dual-bulbs"... See here https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=16558 for tech discussion...

I kinda worded that wrong, sorry. I meant there shipped from China. And mine arent, talking about wait time to get these. And just because I sell these I am in no way an expert on them. I use them but 100% admit not being an expert, just here say stuff. Sorry for any confusion, just want to be honest.

No Taiwan actually, and the company is located in Florida. But seems like 99% of stuff is made across seas these days
