Be careful when dealing with Motormouth

I purchased a Sharkskinz lower from motormouth that was described as in excellent condition and never mounted.

When I received it, it was much much less than described. Holes in the fiberglass, numerous repairs, one side sanded so thin you could almost see the fiberglass weave. He offered to refund however since I had already sanded it he claimed it was no good to him now.

Be careful when dealing with him, he either lacks the experience to adequately describe his for sale items or is pushing his crap off on other people. What really burns my butt is that he laughed about it, characterizing the lower as a "pile". He's right. He got me on this one. He won't again.

Don't become one of his "chumps".

What RWhiner left out of his post is that the "pile " comment was in response to a smart *** comment he made amidst a conversation between myself and another member and one smart *** comment deserves another . I would have happily refunded his $ and mounted the lower on my own bike once returned . Instead he starting sanding away and then complaining . Henceforth the lower is "no good " to me now . Live with it . I have sold a lot of items on here with no complaints aside from this transaction . I am sure i will sell more .

The name of the forum is
Buyer/Seller Feedback

So in that ideal..
https://www.superhawkforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23551
For more information and opinions, read that thread.

Every story has three sides,, buyer, seller, and usually something in-between...
In any case.... lets not turn this in to a flame fest.

If you have purchased something from Motormouth, feel free to post your experience, good, or bad.

If you sold something to him, and think it’s' relevant , post that as well.

RWhisen had his chance for a full refund . If it had been returned the same way it was sent i would have had no problem with that but that ship has sailed . Especially after all this slander .

Erik,

Probably best to lock this one up as well. I don't believe there is any more "discussion" that would be fruitful. I left my feedback, explained the reasons and that is all that needs to be said on my part.

Thanks
