what other cbr's will interchange parts with my superhawk?

Ok I got a 1998 Superhawk that runs great but was laid over. The bike needs a rights side. It needs a new right side radiator, clutch cover(cover where the oil goes in), needs new forks as well and right side fairing.

Can i buy parts from a 900RR to fix if or does it have to be specifically from a 996 superhawk? i can't find any parts for a superhawk.

please help

I think that CBR 900rr forks may work on that one... you'd have to double check that though. Everything else on your list is definitely VTR specific. I have a rt side radiator if you want it though- it's in pretty bad shape visually but functions well.

No cbr parts interchange with the vtr except some bearings and brake/clutch levers. 2 quite different bikes. You could go to the classifieds on this forum and post WTB (wanted to buy).

There are CBR forks that can be made to work from several years. I did a 954 swap, but it isn't a simple bolt on. (pretty close though)

Otherwise, it's all VTR parts for you.

Like lazn said- you can do a fork swap, which pretty much entails a new front end- pretty easy to do, although it takes quite a few new pieces to make it happen.

I also may have some forks for you to use... PM on it's way...
